Jan-Marc Raitz

Jan-Marc Raitz, born in 1974, studied business economics at the private university Nordakademie gAG in Elmshorn, graduating with a business degree (“Diplom-Kaufmann”). Contemporaneous with his academic studies, he completed training on the job at the Claudius Peters Group in Buxtehude.

He started his career in 1998 at the Claudius Peters Group Holding in the function of a Commercial Manager. In the years 2001 and 2002, Jan-Marc Raitz headed the Claudius Peters office in Beijing, China as Chief Representative & Operations Director.

At the beginning of 2003, he returned to Germany to work for the GEA Group’s polymer and textile fibre division Zimmer AG in Frankfurt am Main. At the Zimmer AG Jan-Marc Raitz started as Commercial Manager within the Contracts & Export Finance department from where he was promoted to an Area Sales Manager in 2005. In 2006 he joined the Zimmer AG’s sister company Lurgi AG in Frankfurt am Main. In his position as Area Sales Director, he was fully focusing on the Lurgi AG’s renewable energy business.

On November 1, 2007, he was appointed Managing Director of Elbe Technologies GmbH.
